Theme parks near Storey Lake
Start with the experiences your group most wants to have, then build the park days around them. Staying in Storey Lake gives you a vacation-home base in Kissimmee, but each park still needs its own travel and ticket plan.

Walt Disney World
The four main theme parks are Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. They offer different experiences, so choosing one is more useful than simply putting “Disney” on the calendar.
Make a short list of the rides, characters or shows that matter to your group. Check the official park pages for current attractions, admission requirements and schedules. A ticket for one park or date does not automatically cover every option.
Universal Orlando Resort
Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Epic Universe are distinct theme parks. Universal Volcano Bay is a water theme park. Epic Universe is open, so include it in your comparison if you have not visited Orlando recently.
Look carefully at which parks your ticket includes and how you will travel between them. Use the official maps to check locations rather than assuming all entrances share the same parking arrangements.
SeaWorld Orlando
SeaWorld combines roller coasters with animal exhibits and family attractions. Compare the ride lineup with the interests and heights of everyone travelling, particularly when thrill seekers and younger children are sharing a day.
Check ride availability and the day’s schedule before visiting. Individual attractions may close for maintenance or weather, so it helps to have several things your group would enjoy.
LEGOLAND Florida
LEGOLAND Florida in Winter Haven is a separate day trip from your Storey Lake base. Its LEGO-focused rides and activities are worth considering for families with younger children.
Check age and height suitability as well as ticket inclusions. The resort’s additional attractions and water park may need a different ticket or package. Plan the route and return journey before filling the rest of the day with other commitments.
Build in time beyond the drive
A route estimate is only part of the journey. Parking, security, walking and any transport from the car park to the entrance all take time. Check a live route from your booked home, not from the centre of the Storey Lake map pin, and allow extra time for a fixed dining reservation or timed entry.
Leave a little space in the itinerary
Back-to-back park days can be tiring. Consider a quieter morning, a shopping afternoon or time at your rental between bigger outings. If you plan to use resort facilities, check the independent amenities guide and confirm current arrangements with the operator.
